Even a small amount of water can wreak havoc on your property in a short amount of time. We understand that “oh no! ” feeling when you discover a leak….or worse, come home to find a flood. When water damage is addressed immediately, additional costs and downtime may be avoided, if not, major renovations may be required …please see Mold Remediation services page.
The process by which to thoroughly extract water/moisture, effectively dry out salvageable surfaces and test/treat for contaminants, is called water mitigation. CleanMaster Services is our IICRC certified, emergency water mitigation team. While we respond to a variety of critical situations (hail, storm/wind & fire/smoke… just to name few), water related emergencies are the most common.
Water damage happens for many reasons including frozen/broken pipes, damaged/eroded appliance hoses, overflow of sinks and tubs, leaking roofs/gutters, unseen moisture behind walls and the aftermath of storm damage. Our technicians are IICRC trained and certified and experts in dealing with all types of water related mishaps. When you need us, our Emergency Response technicians arrive equipped with regulation safety supplies, commercial grade water extractors, moisture meters, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers and use only IICRC approved restoration practices.
In addition, our experienced administrative teams work directly with you and your insurance company to coordinate project and claim support and will explain each step, so you’re informed and know what to expect. We understand it’s never a good time to experience property damage. We’ll do everything we can to make your recovery as seamless as possible.
Often during the mitigation/restoration process, it may be advisable to have your property tested for asbestos/lead. Asbestos and lead are both toxic substances found in manydeteriorated building materials, particularly in older homes. In the event asbestos/lead are suspected, we can provide you with information (see Powers Environmental) and independent inspection resources to arrange for testing / abatement services.
